Blue Creek Cove is the name of the private catch and keep pond built and maintained by Blue Creek Cabins.
The fish range in size from 10”-14.” It’s a peaceful spot ideal for families that want a quiet place to relax and fish but is not recommended for serious anglers.
Where is It?
Since the pond is only open to guests staying with Blue Creek Cabins, the exact location of the pond is only disclosed to guests. It sits next to Blue Creek and 1 mile from the Chattahoochee River.
How Much Does It Cost to Fish?
The cost per trout package fluctuates based on the cost of fish at the time of booking.
What’s Included in a Package?
Each trout package purchased comes with the following:
- Catch and keep up to 10 trout
- Access to the surrounding gardens, including marked hiking trails and a complimentary herb garden
- Use of the grills, gazebo, picnic area, and fire pit
Fishing equipment and bait is not included.
What’s the Recommended Bait to Use?
When fishing at Blue Creek Cove, we recommend you use live worms or artificial trout bait.
Best Time of the Year for Trout Fishing
Trout season in North Georgia lasts almost year-round, with the exception of winter. Most years, you can find great fishing from March through late October. We keep our pond well-stocked in spring and fall. Please contact our office for exact dates on trout fishing as it will vary year-to-year based on the weather.
